About the Author
Professor Fred L. Perry, Jr. has spent over half his life outside of the U.S.A., where he and his family have lived and worked in nine countries. He is Professor Emeritus at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, where he taught research methods and language assessment in the M.A. TEFL program and also headed their Testing & Evaluation Service over a 19-year period.

Easy to follow and well organized

As an introductory book to becoming a consumer of research in the Applied Linguistics field, I found that it was clear in explaining the steps and processes. Easy to follow and well organized. I recommend this book to those who are looking for an overview of what reading research looks like Applied Linguistics or a related field.
