A Must Read for all Teacher Educators

I thought I was a pretty good reflective practitioner - after all I have been published on reflective writing - until I read this truly fascinating book. Julian takes my whole concept of reflective practice to a new depth and has inspired me to review not just my work but myself all over again. There is no greater compliment I can give. On page 25 Julian suggests 4 evaluative criteria for the book:
Is it a good read? YES DEFINITELY. THE NARRATIVE STYLE MAKES IT MORE PERSONAL AND INSPIRING WHILST MODELING FOR US ALL AN ENVIABLE DEPTH OF REFLEXIVITY THAT WE CAN ONLY HOPE TO ASPIRE TO.
Do I know more at the end of it than the beginning? A RESOUNDING YES. THE BOOK HAS PROBABLY GIVEN ME ANOTHER DECADE OF WORK I WOULD LIKE TO DO
Do I feel differently / Am I excited by what I might go on to learn? THIS IS THE TREASURE OF THIS BOOK. I CAN SEE WAYS OF DEVELOPING MY TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAMMES, MY STAFF'S PD and MY OWN WRITING THAT HAVE ME TRULY EXCITED
