Stephen K. Medvic is associate professor of government at Franklin and Marshall College. He is the author of Political Consultants in the U.S. Congressional Elections and the textbook Campaigns and Elections: Players and Processes, as well as co-editor of Shades of Gray: Perspectives on Campaign Ethics.

Author is a complete idiot

You can literally go thru most of the book by reading the first one or two lines and then the last one or two lines. Author rarely presents an original thought of their own and just uses other's research and ground work to present both sides of an issue and then concludes "nothing is definite at this time". At one point he outlines what research should be done to better understand, dude that is your job as a writer. Do some effing groundwork yourself and quite making college students buy their piece of crap book.
